Who publishes Plan²

Plan² is published by Robin Guinant, as an individual. Using the site or the editor means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use them.

What Plan² is

Plan² is a 2D house and garden plan editor that runs in your browser. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

Your licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Plan² in your browser. You may not resell it, rent it out, or present it as your own. The plans you draw are yours.

Price

Plan² is free. There is no subscription and no paid tier. Donations through Buy Me a Coffee are optional and unlock nothing. Nothing is being sold to you, and nothing about you is being sold to anyone else.

Your plans are yours, and only yours

Plan² saves no plan on any server. Your drawing stays in your browser tab while it is open, so we cannot recover anything for you. Export your plan as a file to keep it: closing the tab without exporting erases it.

You are responsible for keeping your exported files.

Measurements and areas

The lengths and areas shown are calculated from what you draw. They are meant for planning a project and are not a certified survey, of living area or otherwise.

No warranty

Plan² is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or the editor, including the loss of a plan that was not exported or an incorrect dimension.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under French law, including for death, personal injury, or gross negligence.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page changes with them, and continuing to use Plan² means accepting the version then in force.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls to the French courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
